📜 The Rules

🎯 The goal Each room deals up to 4 cards. Clear the whole deck without your health hitting zero and you escape.
♠ ♣ Monsters Spades & clubs attack for health equal to their rank (J = 11, Q = 12, K = 13, aces are high — A = 14, the deadliest). Bare-handed, you eat the full hit.
♦ Weapons Equip a diamond to take (monster − weapon) damage. Catch: after a kill it can only strike monsters weaker than its last kill. A new weapon resets it.
♥ Potions Hearts heal by their value — but only one per room. A second is wasted.
🏃 Avoid Room Sends all 4 cards to the bottom and deals fresh. You can't avoid two rooms in a row.
🂠 Refilling At the last card, it carries over and the room deals back up to 4. Your potion limit resets too.
🏆 Scoring Escape and you score your leftover health. Die and you score negative — every monster left alive. Higher is better.
